TradingView quotes, watchlists, alerts and ideas
TradingView: Track All Markets is the Android client of TradingView Inc., the charting and social-markets company behind the Supercharts web terminal. Users draw on multi-layout charts, keep colored and custom watchlists, set price alerts, run the stock, forex and crypto screener, follow a news tape and economic calendar, and publish or comment on community Ideas; optional Pro, Premium and Expert plans unlock extra alerts, watchlists and realtime. Brokers deep-link into the same charts. Retail traders, desk analysts and hobby chartists use it worldwide as a quote-and-research client rather than a broker, alongside Investing.com, Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg and MetaTrader 5.
Mini-chart snapshots pin lp last price and minmov against a history of points at a given resolution. Watchlist rows store raw symbols under title and isActive; screener scans return totalCount plus per-symbol column arrays from filter, columns and sortBy. Price alerts carry alertId, message and lastFireTime. Calendar prints list actual versus forecast and previous with importance and indicator. News items expose published, storyPath and a nested provider; Ideas carry uuid, likesCount and author username. Plan maps expose per-tier watchlistLimit and limit.
Quote desks fan last-price ticks onto watchlists, macro bots page when calendar actual misses forecast, and community screens rank Ideas by likes next to the author's username. openData Studio turns that quote, alert, screener and calendar surface into callable open data.

Where teams use this data
Watchlist last-price fan-out
A research bot maps each watchlist items.raw to quote snapshot lp and pages when last price versus history.points crosses a desk band.
Screener-to-alert handoff
A scanner job keeps ScreenerScanResponse rows where filter.left is volume, then opens an alertId on symbol with mobilePush when totalCount names clear the sortBy column.
Calendar surprise desk
A macro bot joins actual to forecast and previous on indicator rows and fires when importance is high and actual misses forecast on NFP-style prints.
Idea author overlay
A community screen stamps IdeaUser.username, likesCount and commentsCount onto uuid cards next to the author's signature.
Frequently asked questions
What quote fields does TradingView return on a snapshot?
Quote snapshot rows carry symbol plus data.minmov, data.lp (last price) and history.points at history.resolution. The fields query asks for short_name and list1_history_last_session_15m.
Can I read watchlists and price alerts, not just quotes?
Yes. The watchlist catalog returns id, isActive, title, type, color and items[].raw. The price-alert list returns alertId, symbol, resolution, message, lastFireTime and delivery flags (email, mobilePush, popup, webHook).
How does TradingView sign-in work?
The client posts username, password, remember, app_hash and an optional captcha token (g-recaptcha-response-s3) to the sign-in form. Success sets a session cookie and returns a user object with id, username and plan.proPlan / billingCycle. Later calls send that cookie.
Which screener and calendar fields are available?
Screener scans take filter.left/operation/right, columns, sortBy and range, and return totalCount plus data[].symbol. Calendar events list indicator, actual, forecast, previous, importance, country and date.
